One of the things that Tom Herman said recently, and that Charlie Strong said before him, was that the team needed to qualify for a bowl game because the seniors had either earned or deserved it.
I would just like to say, no, in recent memory that they have neither earned, nor deserved it. These Texas teams in recent years have gotten exactly what they deserve.
If Texas qualifies for a bowl in the next three games, it will have earned it, which means it is deserved, but not a second before.
