I know, I know, I know... it has taken me forever. However, it's a lengthy process and I kept watching more and more senior film and...well.. here we are.

A stream of thoughts...

a. I wouldn't say a ton of major changes took place because so many updates on the rankings have occurred over the last two years, but there were some.

b. Biggest risers...

* OU wide receiver commit Trejan Bridges moved up to No.3. I was a little slow in moving him up after a monster off-season, but his senior year film was such that the move was warranted.

* A&M tight end Baylor Cupp moved up quite a bit and is now in the top 10. If you just watch a little film on the kid, you might not be convinced he's top 10 good, but the more film you watch, the more you realize just how good of a football player he really is. He's as exciting of a two-way tight end prospect as I've seen in Texas in a while.

* Tyler Owens is one of a handful of Texas commits that I think are underrated. I'm somewhat splitting hairs with his Rivals ranking, but I absolutely believe he's a top 15-25 type kid in the state.

* Call me a Texas commit homer, but I love what I saw from David Gbenda's senior film. Solid 4-star prospect.

* Peter Mpagi was a guy I felt like was another four-star prospect that Rivals has undervalued at this point.

Overall... here's the commitment list breakdown among the big boys.
