How did they benefit? They were helping people. They raised 💰 and have insured that will go directly to Houston food banks, family elder care, feeding Texas, and the bridge homeless recovery center. It's a start.

This probably won't impress any of you but a local hospice asked the Mormon community for assistance. A Mormon meeting house worked overtime and provided cots and bedding for 50 patients and 10 care workers. Some dementia patients are being set up in private rooms and of course enough food to feed 60 people. A sister who lives across the street from the meeting house gave shower for people to use. And certainly more than Perry, Cruz and Abbott.

In times like these its about the message not the messenger.

AOC raised money out of spite. Beto is a spoiled brat that was too "good" to go to school in Texas, and while in college he insisted on being called Robert. Cali, I know a girl that grew up four houses down from him in El Paso. He's a poseur. Only reason he's not a convicted felon is because of family judicial connections. He married more money in five minutes than we'll all make in a lifetime. He's John Kerry without the Vietnam stories. Nobody here wants AOC's raised money or the dress Beto wore at Whataburger skateboarding.

He did a lot of foolish things and he isn't the first one to get a break. From the beginning he came clean about his dui.

So he was called Robert and changed it to Beto to sound more hip? Like Madonna? How about Barry Obama? Kareem Jabbar was born Lew Alcindor and Muhammad Ali was born Cassius Clay. Then you got Bono, The Edge, Sting, and countless other entertainers who adopted new names to sound cool. And has Ted Cruz ever been called Teofilio? Much ado about nothing.

And a lot of people are grateful for AOC, O'Rourke and other so called liberals who are making sure assistance is provided and you don't want her money because she's liberal? You waiting for some TX republican to do something about it good luck with that.

I thought Beto was not a strong enough candidate for the senate and definitely not the presidency. MJ Hegar ran a weird *** campaign. TR run the whole state now every statewide elected official, the congress and the senate is a Republican even with voter registration it will stay deep red. No matter what happens Abbott and Patrick will be reelected next year and so will Cruz if he wants it.

It's about the message not the messenger.
