OT: My All American

Finally got around to watching My All American and was very impressed. I knew the basic story of Freddie Steinmark but had no idea beyond the obvious end result.

If anyone hasn't seen it yet I highly recommend it. Hell, they even did a good job portraying DKR. Could have used a few more classic one-liners though.

Juston Street plays his daddy too. Pretty cool.

Interesting.... My wife (UT Pharmacy grad '85) and I watched it last night and was very impressed. I rarely buy movies but I put this movie on my list for Father's Day presents. It was great to watch.

I have watched it 5 times and any real Texas longhorn fan should not miss this movie. It should be a must for all new Longhorn recruits as it provides an insight into a great coach and a player who would not quit despite the great odds and pain.I thought James Street son did a great job portraying his dad and the attitude needed to win a National Championship,lets get back to work.

Indeed! That movie got me waaay more pumped up for this season than any hype video ever has.
