. . . after enough decades on this planet to teach myself how to tie a real bowtie instead of that clip-on bullsh_t. Of course I only wear a tux about once every year or two at the most (what the hell is the deal with all these “black tie” weddings now? these kids . . .), so I always have to re-teach myself every time. I guess I’m old enough to get satisfaction out of those mundane skills now. Years before was learning to tie one of those single continuous draw strings on my gym shorts. LOL.
