Why are you cracking on Danny Trejo? He's a cool dude with 1 helluva a life story.
Dude was in prison for most of his juvenile and young adult life and then he got his sh!t together. He done great things in his community because he teaches kids that nothing in life is ever going to be handed to you. If you want something, you've got to bust your ass to get it. Dude owns a bad ass taco place near the tar pits and a fleet of taco trucks. Kick ass tacos, I might add. Straight up east LA tacos. The good stuff. His parents were immigrants from Mexico. He wasn't a model of what you're supposed to be when your parents come here, and it took him some time to figure it out, but he's done a helluva job since he got his life together.
Every Latino(a) should look to this guy as an example of how you can work hard and smart enough to make your dreams come true in the most prosperous nation in the history of mankind.
Dyk he learned to box in prison? I can't remember what division lightweight, bantam weight, the dude is only 5'6". But when he was younger he was really cut. Check him out in the movie blood in blood out. He was in the joint for drugs but he's been clean for awhile. Like I said he has a great life story.
Oh I almost forgot he's best known as an actor and when you consider he didn't have any training, didn't get in the movies till he was in his 40's he's a good actor he's in a lot of Robert Rodriguez movies.
