Post-SEC Championship likely Playoff positions

If my senses are correct and given where ESPN is currently slotting Georgia, I believe the following are most likely:

- Win, Texas is no worse than 2nd overall
- Lose, Texas takes the coveted 5th overall spot

Anyone believe differently? Point is that last night’s result could not have positioned Texas any better.
