Somebody's trying to cover up their mistake after it hit the news, now it neg for the NCAA, trying to smooth it over

hmm perhaps, but this would be a lie that is really, really simple to prove as such. Last I checked, Roger Goodell wasn't the head of NCAA too. Time and social media will tell.

I read an article in the Houston Chronicle that said it was actually Baylor who ruled him ineligible not the NCAA.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was one of those so-called "self-imposed penalty" or something to that effect. So while the NCAA might not rule him ineligible, the fear of what the NCAA could do to Baylor (or any school, for that matter) is enough.

Either way, I hope this kid is still taken care of.
