Cole and I will have more detailed reports on these guys (and a few others) in the coming days, but some quick notes on Texas targets that were out at Sunday's Rivals Camp in Dallas.
QB Roy Thomas Jenkins – Beaumont West Brook (2025) – This was my first time talking to the Beaumont West Brook standout and it sounds like he’s legitimately on UT’s radar. Sark has been to his school and A.J. Milwee will be going by soon. Jenkins is aware that UT recruits at a bit slower pace than a lot of schools when it comes to QBs, and he said just the fact that Texas is showing him interest is huge. I get the impression that if the coaches eventually decide to go forward with an offer, Texas will be a major player here. His sister is a freshman at UT.
OL Michael Fasusi – Lewisville (2025) – Perhaps the most “newsy” thing of the day … Fasusi will be at UT on Friday for an unofficial visit. Long way to go in this one but I do get the impression that OU has the early lead. This will be his first visit to Texas so we’ll see if that changes after Friday. Fasusi, once again, was flat-out dominant. Love, love, love his upside.
DL Dominick McKinley – Lafayette Acadiana – He wasn’t there working out but was in attendance watching his brother. Upcoming OVs to Ohio State, A&M, OU and Texas. Nothing set up yet with LSU, but I expect that’ll change at some point. He had good things to say about his recent visit to Texas and his relationship with Bo Davis.
LB Dakyus Brinkley – Katy Seven Lakes – Brinkley really isn’t that invested in the recruiting process right now. He hasn’t been anywhere since last summer and he doesn’t have any visits on the calendar, either official or unofficial. He does like Texas a lot and looked pretty good out there today with his quickness off the edge but things are very quiet right now.
ATH Boobie Feaster – Duncanville (2027) – Cole has more on Feaster below, but Texas has offered and he said Johntay Cook is like a big brother to him. This kid is going to be big-time … hard to believe that he’s still a freaking middle schooler.
WR Taz Williams – Red Oak (2025) – Chris Jackson had told Taz that he’d get his offer this spring and it happened last week after Jackson went by Red Oak. Texas being behind other schools on offering isn’t a hindrance, he said, and he loves Jackson’s history in the NFL as both a player and a coach.
RB Riley Wormley – Colleyville Heritage (2025) - He holds nine offers presently and is taking things slowly as he waits to see who else might jump into the mix. He was at UT’s spring game, said he has a great relationship with Tashard Choice and the vibe I get is that Texas is one of his top couple of schools at this early stage.
LB Kelvion Riggins – South Oak Cliff (2025) – Somewhat surprisingly, he said he hasn’t heard anything from Texas since Chris Gilbert left. He mentioned schools like Notre Dame and Texas A&M as being the most aggressive in recruiting him. If Texas does pick things back up, I expect the Longhorns to be serious contenders due to his ties with a couple of freshmen from SOC, including Malik Muhammad, who has told him great things.
DE Kamauryn Morgan – Red Oak (2025) – I thought Morgan made a case to be DL MVP at the camp. He was very good overall. A recent Texas offer was big, he said, but he’s still wide open.

Taz Williams keeps things close to the vest, but even he admitted that the Texas offer was big for him. He said that was an offer that he’s been wanting, so when Chris Jackson delivered on that, it caught his attention. That will make the Longhorns a player in his competitive recruitment.
Andrew Marsh is making a case as one of the premier players in the state for the 2025 class. He has yet to disappoint at any setting that I’ve seen him in. Marsh said that he is building a relationship with Jackson, and he is already impressed. The Longhorns are firmly in his top group, with LSU, A&M, OU, and USC also in the mix. His repeated visits to the 40 Acres is a good sign.
Kamuryn Morgan shined at the camp in the OL/DL session. A teammate of Taz Williams, Morgan is also interested in the Longhorns after adding an offer this spring. Morgan is a lean edge rusher that is still developing his craft but his talent is evident. Georgia and Texas A&M are also on the offer sheet.
Boobie Feaster is only a 2027 prospect, but he might be the top guy to know in the class in the state. Feaster is set to play his first varsity season at DeSoto with double digit offers already. Feaster expects a Texas offer in the near future and believes he can be better than Johntay Cook. Definitely not a kid lacking any confidence or talent, as he earned recognition following the camp.
Kelvion Riggins won LB MVP honors and is gearing up for his junior season at South Oak Cliff. He said that Billy Walton and Malik Muhammad have been in his ear about the Longhorns.
Javian Osborne is a 2026 prospect with a Longhorns offer and he had a strong showing today. He said that the offer means a ton, considering the history at the position with Bijan Robinson and Ricky Williams. He visited in March and is a guy that Tashard Choice is already high on.
