Dallas the GOAT
For as much as Quinn has done (Big12 title, Playoff birth, Career top 5, primed for top 3 in some cases, in several Texas QB all time categories), he hasn’t done nearly enough for a large segment of Texas faithful.

He’s also waltzed into Saban’s house and beat him. A feat seldom accomplished (ever?).

The supporters point to the above. The doubters point to his attraction to injuries, lack of mobility, and aloof demeanor.

The A&M game looms. This feels like the QE “legacy game.” Though cliche, this game really does feel like it’s all about the QB. And it’s weird: QE has the talent and ability to help Texas cruise in College Station; we’ve witnessed it. But he’s maybe the most two-faced QB I recall in recent history, and it’s extreme. He plays either an A+/A game or it’s a C. His C game doesn’t win in CS.

Does this game, and QE’s performance, make or break his legacy? Does anything short of a National championship rectify a potential loss in CS?

I’ve always been a QE backer. With a poor performance and loss this weekend, I think I toe across the line. Discuss.
