Because some of y’all know who I am I can’t give specifics but hopefully my reputation on this forum is good enough that you know I’m not a bullshitter even if you don’t agree with my opinions. I do think this is a good example to discuss the victim culture we are fostering in this country.
I know a young lady (14 y.o.) who is insanely gifted athletically. She competes on an international level and has a legit shot of being an Olympian someday. She recently attended a US national camp and instead of being able to choose their roommates and room with friends they were assigned roommates and she ended up with a girl she hardly knew. Not once but twice she walked in on her roommate half naked making out with her girlfriend (call it halfway between 2nd & 3rd base to you an idea). The first time she let it go and just asked it to not happen again. The second time she approached the coaches. When she did she was asked if the issue was because the girls were gay? WTF? Why the hell would she be asked that first before anything else? When her dad found out and brought it up with those in charge they told him they had to be carful how this was handled so as to not create an unwelcoming environment for gay athletes. They chose to make a general comment to all the girls as a group that there can’t be any “sexual contact” amongst them in the dorms. That’s it - they weren’t talked to individually and their parents weren’t notified.
Absolutely ridiculous. Imagine if this had happened between a guy and a girl…..
