He has a need for attention similar to my 10 year old.

Bye Felicia. ;) it was fun while it lasted, but as we all know, you HAVE to take out the trash sometimes.. and lets face it, you wre hot garbage soaked in dumpster juice..... and food for thought as you try to figure out another screen name to use - with as bad as we were last year, how did we smash the sooners so bad? Bet you commit suicide this october when Texas spanks that ass again. lol. ;)

It was a bad Texas team beating an average OU team, nothing more or less. Once OU got out of the weak conference games they got their ass handed to them by Clemson.

I accept that from a tx fan , because who else is more familiar with getting their asses handed to them ya know?

Is what it is. There wasn't anything special about OU, but they notched another conference champ against the children of the poor. Texas was simply bad and has been since 2010. They haven't had much of a problem keeping up with Stoops in Dallas, but they need lots of work versus the poor.

I dunno man, that seemed like a special team to me. Considering they had come off an extremely disappointing 8-5 year with question marks on the Oline, defense and at qb, with a new offense, new position coaches, and a secondary that got buttraped all the year before. Then they had IMO far and away the top overall D and top secondary to go with a top 10 nationally offense. I sure didnt see that kind of improvement so quickly. They won all the games they were supposed to win except 1. Tx has been very bad for a while, they have had trouble keeping up with OU, not in two games in dallas in the last 2 shootouts, but in terms of the other 32 or so games they played over the past few seasons. However to be fair, since you noted how tx has been bad since 2010, then it's worth noting OU is 4-2 against them in that time.

:)

OU fan isn't used to winning big games lately. So they find moral victories in losses. Like what he is doing here.

"So what if we lost to UT....I find a moral victory in that loss in that OU had a better season than UT. But I am going to act like you guys are the ones finding moral victories in a win".

Hilarious. Keep up the good work. This thread is getting more entertaining by each Okie post.

Let's look at the epitome of a "moral" victory......

Winning a conference devoid of its traditional blue blood powerhouse, and then being spanked on national TV, only to crow "but we made it to the playoffs".

THAT my erstwhile dirt merchant friend, is a moral victory. I can list 5 teams in the stoops Era that would have mopped the floor with this year's team. Did we whip you? Yes
Was it anywhere near one of our best teams? Hell no.
Soooooo how special was last year's OU team again?

Tell us more about your "moral victory".

Moral victories help, I understand. Gotta cling to whatever you can.

There is nothing moral about Texas running over and through OU on the field, and punishing twinkle toes. You're actually clinging to a lucky season, where you didn't face Baylor and TCU at their best. Congrats on skating by, then getting your ass whipped...again, congrats.

It was an average OU squad that didn't show up in the post season, but...whatever floats your boat. Stoops has been around for more than 16 years, it wasn't anything above PAR or SPECIAL in a watered down league. Props to Stoops for getting some more crystal at the conference level, I doubt he ever wins another National Title.

It really kills you that Texas won doesn't it? You can't stand it.

Kills me? No I cant say it does. I loved how last season went. I mean, in reality why should it? Did it cost them a spot in the playoff? did it cost them the big 12 championship? Just not sure why I should personally feel bothered by it considering how the season went. Was I happy after the game? No. Did it really matter? Again, no. So maybe im just numb but I cant find reason to be so disturbed by a loss that meant little.

:)

I personally find that the entire season is more important than a game you play in october. I dont understand why that's funny or entertaining. Do you find it difficult to sleep at night because iowa state and their backup qb beat you 24-0?

OU's first goal , each year, is to win the big 12. It's not to beat texas, or osu or anyone else, goal to win the conference. Check.
The goal of most top programs, after winning their conference is a spot in the playoff to play for a championship. Check.
They didnt win, but achieved more last year than really anyone thought was possible. But i should give a hoot about a 7 pt loss to tx? In the grand scheme of the season, again, why would any reasonable minded OU fan be concerned or unhappy about it? It was a awesome season, very special whether you agree or not. Of over 100 fbs teams, only a couple had a better season than OU, so yeah, great season. On top of that, it springboarded OU into what's already looking like Stoops' best class of his career. So that's a pretty nice byproduct of a great season.

Hindsight is of course 20/20 as OU was on a 7 game win streak, one of the hottest teams in the country just coming off a huge 7 touchdown victory in the de-facto big 12 championship game. OU did not put their best foot forward for the bowl game and got beat by a better and more prepared team. It was a great year for OU, on offense and defense, so yeah it was special, it was above par, especially considering how bad they were coming off the '14 season.

Thanks, it was a great season and I loved it. Sucks for baylor and tcu.

TCU was a better team and missing their starting QB, meh.... I wouldn't expect a fan boy to see it as anything other than greatness.

Oh they showed up alright. They showed up and promptly showed they didn't belong on the big stage per usual. One has to be there to be bent over, no?

Your mother is a filthy meth head prodtitute. I'd comment on your father, but no one knows who he is. Probably your brother.
