I can't stand OU, but it was nice seeing them put a beat down on the $EC tonight!
I think too much is put in to conferences and teams bowl success(or lack of). Tom Herman is undefeated in bowl games at Texas. Lincoln Riley was winless coming in to tonight. Don’t think anyone would argue Herman and Riley are on the same level
Well Florida was missing receivers that probably would have made a difference for them on offense but to the best of my knowledge their defense was intact and they did get steamrolled pretty good

I agree. If Florida would have been at full strength, they would have beaten gooner like a girl that says something one of ou's players doesn't like.
Poor aggy! They lost last night and they didnt even play. Did they even play anyone besides Bama that wasnt a 4 loss ( at least) team? Mond said it was a shame that they didnt get more respect. He said that the media thought many secsecsec teams would go undefeated in other conferences.

That’s the same defense that Florida has shown all season. The only way they won games was to outscore everyone and they looked rather inept last night.
Well in 08’ OU was without our rb Demarco Murray in the Championship game vs. Florida, they weren’t missing any starters. We lost 28-14. Murray was out with injury not because he was a selfish player who opted out. Florida May have scored more points if their missing players were there but those receivers don’t play defense and OU rung up 55 on that SEC defense.
That Florida team looked like OU from the last 5-7 years, trying to out score everyone because our defense was horrid
Talented and being ready to play at that level aren’t the same thing. Hudson card for example is a very talented kid, but if he had to step in to play right now he probably wouldn’t look great.
That was an ass whipping of epic proportions. I'm not buying the receiver garbage - Trask was guiding/pushing the ball. The 3 int's in the first quarter were not great plays by OU - they were horrible decisions/bad execution by Trask. Florida recruited low character selfish players who opted out - proving they didn't want to play for anything other than themselves. OU took advantage. Yet another reason I hate the Aggies - I now root for my conference. Which includes OU. Boomer!
Florida was out 4 of their top receivers (Toney, Grimes, Copeland, Pitts) and 3 starters (Campbell, Miller) on defense also opted out and 6 more unavailable for unknown reasons. Did it make a deference, we will never know.
Pitts and Toney reminded me of the receivers last year from LSU. They would win battles for the ball. Trask would just sling it out there and they would go get it.
He did not look comfortable at all last night and Oklahoma looked pretty good on defense. That was the ball game. Florida’s defense is terrible. All season.

Yeah. I think with the 4 missing receivers Florida has a lot more possession and likely scores more but their defense would still be a liability, so probably closer to 45-35 but still an OU win.
I don’t necessarily root for a rival I’m just tired of hearing how good the SEC is when all actuality it’s 1 to 2 good teams a year with a bunch of mediocre to bad teams mixed in. I knew that last year when we played LSU close last year.
The SEC SEC just showed how good they are with Mississippi State beating Tulsa and then creating a big brawl before and after the game.
If daddy had 1 lose this year, we would be in the CFP. That's the difference between us and you.

I hate to admit it, but I think aggy handles business in their bowl. NC did nothing for me this year. A lot of you picked them over ND, and I said no sir. Aggy has a lot to prove so they will play hard. NC is still a year away.
You don't have to tell us this. Maybe Tommy will get his head out of his ass next year. This team has loads of potential... yet again.
Both teams should be banned from post season next year.

So do Texas fans have more hate for OU or any number of SEC teams? I understand getting tired of hearing how great the SEC is and that the BIG12 is garbage. Not saying it is necessarily true, but it is perception at the very least. And I am sure annoying as hell.
But..... is that enough to make you pull for OU? I wouldn't pull for LSU or Texas if they were playing ISIS. Just interesting to see so many horns pull for OU on multiple boards vs Florida (not exactly a rival). I assume it is young horns who haven't learned true hate just yet. Or maybe generic SEC hate has actually surpassed OU hate. Just wondering.
I can guarantee you of few things:
1. I never root for gooner or aggy
2. I never act as though we have won something, because someone else has in the Big 12.
3. I would never want Texas football to hoist banners for something we haven't won.
4. I would never go to a gooner or aggy board because I was in the least bit curious about what they think.

Texas fans were dismissed from this same idea in 09. SEC fans want their cake and eat it too. They can eat shit. Their 2nd best team got their shit kicked.

I wouldn't pull for aggy if they were playing Iraq U. The whole $EC is a colostomy bag of corruption and cheating. Bama's day is coming. They'll be back to 8-4 and a middle of the pack team when Saban retires, and before aggy gets their hopes up, they won't do anything, because they're aggy, and will always be aggy.

its not that we pull for OU, it’s more that we like to take the opportunity to run the SEC’s nose in it when they once again prove they are no better than other conferences. We’ve been saying the aggies have only played one good team all year, now it shows that we were right. If OU would have lost we gladly would be trashing them, but they ended up blowing out the SEC east winner so there is not much we can say.
