Everyone is having a hard time understanding how CS could take the job at Texas and want to bring Watson along as OC. We all knew at the time that Watson was below average on his best days.
The simple truth is CS got exactly what he wanted in an OC. He wants an offense that plays old school football, controls the clock, limits mistakes and helps the defense as much as possible.
CS's best game at Texas was the OU game this year. This win has only reinforced his convictions about what an offense should be.
Anyone who thinks CS is going to change one of his core convictions about football is borderline delusional. If Texas wants an offense in line with modern Football in this state, we need a new head coach.
