Yeah it does. Cancelling college baseball killed me. Also, women's softball was doing really well. No NBA, no NASCAR, no Indy Car, no NHRA, no MLB, no XFL, no HS baseball, and no Houston rodeo. Sucks! I've been watching NFL Network and the free agent signings. That's about the best thing sports-wise on TV right now. Now if this pandemic preempts football, that's a whole 'nother deal! Aw hell naw!
Tv is useless to me without sports. I cancelled cable til fall. No football then no cable. Work is zero as well. What is Metcalf up to?

Yeah, where is Metcalf? The price of oil plummeting is hurting a lot of people. It affects my customers in that their budgets are drastically reduced and they only buy what they absolutely need. That, and the stock market falling off of the cliff.
Seriously - great game - I hope CDC was watching and can see what the Drum should be like. Full house, great atmosphere, and unwasted NBA talent.
ESPN is pretty much showing all of their 30 for 30"s on demand. Usually only 5 are available and you have to wait for the rest. Not now.
I watched Phi Slamma Jama for the first time in a few years. I forgot how good it was much better than I thought it would be the first time I watched it.
I remember them very well. That was a helluva team. I always thought loss to North Carolina State was a fluke that game winning shot was pure schoolyard. And Jim Valvono was a con man I'm sorry that he died young. But I never thought he was be very good.
I thought Guy Lewis never got the credit he deserved as a coach. It took to long to put him in the HoF but at least he got in before he died. So he wasn't John Wooden or Dean Smith or Coach K but who was? He was a good coach look at his bio he sent a lot of good players to the NBA it wasn't just PSJ. But he let a couple of his players do what they wanted and it ruined the team chemistry. One is them was Benny Anders. I remember BA very well and he's the heart of the story. He was great and selfish at the same time.
But I was impressed with the players on the team they were all likable guys the kind of guys you could hang out and talk hoops with. That was the best part of the video.

Oh and one more thing they've got another? documentary about Dennis Rodman. I'm tellin ya no other bb player has had more doc's, more books written about him or by him. I didn't watch it what else can we possibly know about him that we haven't heard before?

ya'll are acting like you thought this virus lockdown is going to just up and go away within 60 days. My prediction is that it will by then be way....way worse than it is now. This is not just some minor inconvenience. This has a likelihood of being "life as we know it " altering.....however small. Who knows what the economy will look like? Cattle prices are 60% of what they were 6 weeks ago. Sugar prices have fallen 30% All US auto plants have shut down. If a cure was announced tomorrow it would take who knows how long to ramp the economy back up?

Let's hope that it doesn't come to this. It could though, and that would be a shame. The economy was rocking along until this virus started spreading world-wide. The sooner this virus runs it's course, the better.
agreed MM. I just think we are far, far from the finish line on this deal. It is not unreasonable to look at Italy as just being 15 days ahead of us in the progression. Those guys now need to show Govt papers to be on the street at ANY time! Forget the TP shortage....(.which by the way is about to be over. There will be pallets of TP in the store aisles soon). We could be in a Govt ordered shelter in place lockdown.I will be very surprised if there is a 2020 baseball or football season.
I can buck it up and get through no basketball and no baseball . . . but no college football??? NFW!!! I lose my mind if that happens.
You know I just thought of this what if this still going on when we get closer to election day? What? No election day? Man imagine the possibilities? The hypotheticals. I know it's a long way off but I shudder at the thought. Forget about all the sports we can't watch now this is really serious.
