Having been 13 years since I’ve been to that stadium, I had forgotten a little bit. When Tim Walz said those guys are weird, he must’ve been talking about these people.

They have the biggest inferiority complex and little brother syndrome of any sports fans on the planet. They want to be us so bad.

It’s so strange going in there. They have all these traditions that make you think we’ve gone back to 1955… With the overalls, the military band, people chanting farmers fight. Bunch of weird dudes dressed like painters running around on the field making odd gestures. But then they have the 2024 sports event atmosphere kind of over the top of all that.music blasting all the time on top of it… It was just odd.

But imagine being an Aggie this morning. You have this weird obsession with Texas. You hate them so much you went to a whole new conference… And even though you were mediocre in that conference, you could hold that over Texas. We might not be able to beat you, but we’re in the better conference. Yay SEC.

And then Texas moves into your conference. And we clinched a spot in the championship game on your field in our first year… When you haven’t been in it once.

That’s all we heard for the last 13 years. SEC. SECSEC..

Except Texas fans were the ones chanting that at the stadium last night. That had to sting.

And I have the biggest effing smile on my face this morning.
