IMO, the leadership at Texas has a difficult challenge balancing Strong's record and the
dissatisfaction of many fans and supporters with other key factors.

1. The oral arguments before the U. S. Supreme Court in the Fisher case (about race and ethnic
admissions considerations) will be held a few days after the Baylor game. Not the best timing.

2. On UT's Office of the President's website, there is a prominent article titled
"Athletic Departments,Coaches, Athletes and Non-Athletes Across the Country Should Learn
From Missouri." It was written by Daron Roberts, the director of the Center. This article
has appeared in other publications, as well.

If someone could post the article, that might be helpful in providing more insight. Pending that,
here are a few excerpts:

"…to Coach Pinkle's credit he joined the right side of history…The episode is a case study
in off-the field leadership, something that is needed in athletic departments across the country.
The calculated boycott by the Mizzou football team underscores their deep understanding of what
was at stake. They issued what amounted to a leveraged buyout of the university's leadership."

Roberts seems to think that this is a good thing and doesn't talk about the downside risks.
The Center was founded a year ago and is apparently funded by revenue from the Longhorn Network.
