Here's an update on Nacogdoches safety Brandon Jones' visit to Arkansas this weekend.
A few notes/quotes:
According to numerous recruits through the years, the Razorbacks have one of the nation's top weight rooms, which was a big hit for Jones.
“It’s lot of newer equipment and stuff like that which is good," he said. "They just have a lot of stuff like that a some of other schools don’t have within the weight room and training room, which really stood out to me. Also, the academic center was real nice with all the tutors they have. They just have everything set up for you to succeed. There's pretty much no way to fail unless you want to.
“Honestly, just being out here, I was really impressed with the weight program. They showed us some before and after pictures which really stood out to me, because I like to lift weights and get bigger and faster and stuff. And how comforting the coaches are because some of the coaches don’t take the time to do all that. That really stood out to me.”

Fort Worth All Saints Episcopal DE Michael Williams is on his way home from his UT official visit. I caught up with Williams a few minutes ago to get the latest ...
Williams remains committed to Stanford but said Texas gave him a ton to think about.
"It was really good. Really good," Williams said of the visit. "It's just the family atmosphere they have. The coaches treat everybody like family and I like it.
"Now I need to go home and pray, think about where i'm going on Signing Day."
Williams is down to Stanford and Texas. He said SMU is under consideration but they're "on the outside looking in."
As for the process of choosing either Texas or Stanford, Williams said "I'll just just brainstorm with my family and go from there."
The UT coaches stressed to Williams that he can get a great education at Texas and set himself up for a good future after football.
"Their academics," Williams said when asked about UT's sales pitch. "If i want to live in Texas after I'm done playing, their alumni base, their network base is as good as Stanford."
The draw with Stanford ... "The academics. The coaching staff, they're cool too," Williams said. "Cali is a nice place to be. It's the place to be and you can always come back home later."
Williams took his official visit to Stanford last weekend. He was accompanied on his UT visit by his mother, his sister and his brother.

We'll work on getting updates from the other three visitors but they're not the most talkative bunch so it may be tough. While I had Williams on the line, I asked him to make predictions on the other players who were in town since they spent the last 48 hours together.
Kyle Porter - "My prediction, I'm going to go TCU."
Jordan Elliott - "With Jordan, I'll predict Texas. I think Michigan is too far."
Chris Brown - "Chris, I didn't get to talk to him a lot, but i think Texas for him too. His grandparents live here."
