Cooks officially listed a top six a while back. That's been shaken up with LSU offering and him visiting Baton Rouge. Officially, he has seven schools on his list but this one feels to me like it'll probably come down to either Texas or LSU with Baylor being a wildcard becuase of Dave Aranda's reputation.
The other big note is that Cooks told me he'd like to decide on October 1. He wants to get it out of the way, but that also gives him a chance to watch some college football and evaluate defenses. He's hoping to take a visit (self-guided, if necessary) to Baylor and said a stop in Austin is also a possibility.
