Sources confirmed to me that Michigan's William Carr will join Charlie Strong as a defensive analyst. Bruce Feldman originally reported the story.

From what I was told, Carr's role on the staff will be similar to a graduate assistant, but with a few more responsibilities. Some defensive analysts act as coaches on some staffs, but Carr will not have that role in Austin. Instead, this will be an entry level job for Carr, who will given the opportunity to learn under veteran coaches.

By the way, Justin Burke is the offensive analyst at Texas.
