Anyone out there who can bring the board up to speed on what exactly is being discussed? Are the proposals on a range of issues? What, if anything, is mostly likely to get passed?
Specific questions:
1) Will public school money be diverted to private schools?
2) Will kids be able to pick any public school they want to attend?
If yes to 2, what about overcrowding of schools, and who will pay to expand said schools if they are overcrowded with kids from other districts? Typically the district would pay to expand/rebuild.
