GA DL > TX OL: The entire game Quinn was under duress. All of the OL were getting shoved into the backfield constantly. Cam, you are going pro? I don’t think the NFL will like how you play against elite DL. Plus all the damn false starts. I don’t like scapegoating these young men because they are fighting every play as best as they can for the University of Texas. My only reason is that many are going to bash Quinn and place him as the sole source of the loss

Quinn bashers:: i have no beef with you. Just my opnion on what I saw the most obvious deficiency. Don’t take my word for it. Wisner 51 yards on 19 carries.

Credit GA. They are the better team.

This is a good thread to vent and blame for those who want. Its cathartically therapeutic.

I mentioned Cam, but my complaint is that the OL collectively lost the game.

We called twice as many pass plays as run plays. Georgia did not respect the run game and in the second half we abandoned the run. Makes it pretty easy.

Shit, we didn't go Arch package until OT. Sark panicked and it made things extremely difficult.

Bobo didn't change is ideology when the backup came in and in fact, called QB draws and bamboozled PK.

Sorry, but Texas was outcoached in 2nd half

Biggest coaching Faux Pas:
It’s a tie:
1) Backup punter in the game and no heads up at all. Our defenders were oblivious, but I blame the coaches for not alerting them.

2) Our coaches didn’t adjust to GA’s winning run. Beck who was handicapped with no arm came in. Should have been an obvious stack the box call. Instead, Etienne runs down the middle for a TD.

Pretty simple- we did what we needed to do to win the game.
Quinn was far from perfect- in fact, at times he played like a absolute dog sh!t. But he still did enough to win. Period.
We missed 2 FGs that cost us the game.

Yes- our red zone play calling was absolutely fvcking atrocious.
As much as I fvcking despise this person with the fire of 10,000 suns- I'll say this- when Mackoprick got into the red zone, he never did anything stupid. Why? He had Phil Dawson and knew there were 3 points that were going up NO MATTER WHAT.... and he wouldn't do something stupid in the red zone to jeopardize those 3 points.

Sark thinks he's smarter than he is.

Damn kickers. Auburn used to be pretty solid. Now he just looks like Sherley Temple.

Too many penalties, missed field goals, and not winning the turnover margin.
Talking about penalties, I can’t wrap my head around a horrible call and a horrible non-call.
1) Ant Hill called for roughing the passer at the top of the first qtr.
2) Georgia Chambliss saxked Quinn towards end of 1st qtr. Good clean play, but he stands up and knees Quinn while he is on the ground. No freaking call. I could have been unsportsmanlike or taunting. Take your pick.

In case any blowU or aggy lurkers read my post, no I am not blaming the refs for the loss.

I normally don’t bet on Texas games but a buddy of mine pressured me into betting him…this one’s on me. Sorry guys.

That's kind of insulting to Shirley Temple....who was bangable back in her day.....after tonight Auburn will be lucky to get laid by an Iowa State grad....
Now that is funny as hell. So much so I nominate it for under rated post office the year.

Hey carrot top is not the reason we lost the game. I don't think we're ready yet to win a nc. Maybe Sarkisian is like Bobby Bowden and that'll take him a few years to break through.

The only ranked team we've played beat us. Twice. The zebras were calling ticky tacky holding calls on our receivers but all the penalties affected us emotionally and we were not ready to play through that especially in the second half.

Our defense played well but I guess we should have game planned for that backup qb. In the second half their offense controlled the momentum. I guess we need a game plan for Clemson's backup if we knock Klubnick out of the game.

All sarcasm aside were not there yet.

We don't have the power-run game to set up balance with the RPO game in the red-zone vs good defensive fronts.

This puts Quinn in bad spots by shrinking the playcalling options to spreading it out and hoping Quinn makes great throws in tight windows in a condensed field without a true possession receiver on the outside.

I see many people rightfully questioning Sark's red-zone playcalling this game, but there are limitations that influence that to a degree.

I'm not sure if more situational (and expanded) Archcat packages would help these red zone woes, but literally anything is better than the red-zone offense that we've had in the latter part of the season.

If you can’t run the ball effectively with your running backs, then your QB has to be a threat to run or you get a 1 dimensional offense in the red zone. Sounds familiar doesn’t it.
Acknowledging QE’s lack of mobility isn’t a knock on him. It’s reality. Using Arch in the once you get close to the goal line gives us a better chance to score but that doesn’t mean Quinn isn’t the starter or that it’s automatically a QB controversy. Not adjusting because you’re too stubborn does no favors to the guy Sark keeps saying is QB1.

Fun stat for everyone-

Red zone offense.

Where do you think Texas ranks?
Top 10?
Top 25?
Top 50?
Top 75?
Top 90?

No cheating. Where do you think we rank? My guess was 30.

Then I looked it up.

Ready?

We are ranked number

Noventa y dos

Ninety two.

Ninety fvcking two.

Well I'm sure Ewers has some responsibility but we can't bench him now
