Whether you're Pro-Strong or ready for a change largely depends on how you view these two games. Both are the outliers on the season. Looking back on the season, both are head scratchers with OU now in the football playoff and Iowa St. firing their coach and finishing with two conference victories.

If you think the OU game was a glimpse at what this team can be next year, then it represents the primary source of optimism for the future with Charlie. However If you think the Iowa State loss was closer gruesome display of all deficiencies of this team and staff, then you're likely in the camp that a change must be made.

The real question is "How does the season look if these two outliers are removed?"

I think it's safe to say that the season is an utter disaster if the OU win was removed and Charlie would have few supporters left.

Alternatively, if the Iowa State loss is removed from the equation you have one less blowout loss, but still a disappointing 5 win season to this point. Does an Iowa St. win drastically change the overall impression of the season? Texas still likely misses a bowl game pending the Baylor game and still finishes with a worse record than last year.

Perrin has some tough decisions next week, Was the OU win a peek of things to come or just a game where everything went the team's way?
