I've found my thirst for the product falling as well, but it doesn't have anything to do with the protests.

I can't put my finger on it, exactly, but I just don't care as much as I used to. The highs aren't as high and the lows aren't as low any more.

I wonder if some of this connected to fantasy football.

Over the last half-decade-plus, I've poured so much into fantasy football that I can't help but wonder if it just burns you out to a degree, managing multiple teams for a decade and living the cruel realities of what can happened in often arbitrary events.

I have two teams this year, but just am not living and dying by the results each week or putting hours into weekly homework. Actually, it's been a relief to give up some of that emotional commitment.

Did we create our own overdose?
