I would dearly love to see an upset this week. Maybe NW over tOSU probably not but there's always hope.
FL over AL? Doubtful but I'd love to see it.
OR/SC big deal the winner should consider themselves lucky if they manage to get in an NY6 bowl game.
ND/Clemson best matchup of the weekend by far. It took ND 2 ot's to beat Clemson without Trevor Lawrence. Can somebody beat Clemson twice in 1 season? This is a tossup.
OK/ISU you know OK has more talent than ISU. But ISU is the best coached team this year. They are this year's Baylor. However they have a better team than Baylor because they have a better offense.
You know LR said this week that ISU has a spread offense but in their spread they use their te's sometimes all 3 are on the field. They're all at least 6'5" and the biggest one of them all, Charlie Kolar, is 6'7" 270 lbs. And if he catches a pass and gets a 5 yard head start one man can not bring him down alone you can ask our secondary about that. Breece Hall is one of the best rb's in the country. Brock Purdy has the best pump fake since Vince Young. Their defense is good led by Mike Rose.
OK is OK
But right now ISU has played better. OK has improved since they lost to ISU but it's a better ISU team than the one that beat OK in October. They are on a roll. Matt Campbell hasn't just beaten TX twice he's beaten OK twice as well. Think of this for a minute in 5 years he's already beaten OK as many times as Mike Gundy has in 16. He's also beaten OK more times than TH. I mean this is ISU were talking about.
ISU had only beaten OK 5 times in 80+ games before MC showed up and now he's won twice would have been 3 if he had made a 2 point conversion last year. MC just coaches without any thought of ISU's history. As far as he's concerned he has a winning record against OK. What I'll be watching for on Saturday morning is will ISU play tight? Will they be thinking about their past too much? Under MC they haven't but this is the Big XII title game and OK has won 5 in a row and will be going for #6 on Saturday. So their experience advantage is huge.
But if ISU doesn't play tight they should win a close one.
