“Life is fragile, handle with PRAYER.” – Unknown

I can’t speak for all of you, but as I get older, this quote is true every day. Sometimes I wake up with an ache or a pain I didn’t have after I plopped into bed the night before. My Dad used to say… “Don’t get old!” Now I know why.

Not only can we expect physical pains, but our mental state is also often challenged. I’ve talked about grief related behavioral problems, much drug and alcohol abuse stems from grief caused by over 40 different losses one can potentially suffer in a lifetime. How we process these challenges makes a huge difference in how we go about creating a life that feels worth living.

While growing up I witnessed most people turned to prayer in times of crisis. That’s one way I suppose, but as I’ve aged, I’ve realized that prayer works better as a constant communication with our Creator in good times and bad. If you pray in the good times, you stay in tune with what He wants for you, perhaps a daily conversation can steer you clear of some of the bad times that can happen when we are not listening to the one who has our best interest for us.

Praying and listening to the answers our Creator gives you can help you better understand your purpose in life. Our Creator will help you understand why you are here and what you can do to return to live with Him after this life.

May you live a life of constant prayer.

Matthew 6:5-8, Philippians 4:6-7, Matthew 7:7-11
