Convictions

Convictions are the things that are of utmost importance. They are the thoughts, ideas, beliefs that we are not willing to change just because another person thinks differently. It takes a huge amount of courage and strength to stand by your convictions, your values because they are constantly being challenged.

An article recently posted by @HllCountryHorn said that it took 632 years to build the Cologne Cathedral. 632 years. It was built to house the remains of the Three Wise Men who visited Jesus after his birth. Getting the cathedral built took strong convictions because they had to be passed down for generations, from father to son to grandson to great grandson to …

Today’s society changes directions with the wind, and sometimes for the weakest of reasons, The convictions and determination it took to work on something that would not be completed for many generations is hard to fathom.

What convictions, values will you pass on to your children and hopefully for generations to come?

Blessings and love,
