11 a.m. update - Torshiro just announced ... it's Texas. More coverage from Howell. Story is posted below.


10:55 a.m. update - School principal and coach Holmes are talking. Davis will be up next.


10:47 a.m. update - Torshiro is at the table. National Anthem is playing.


10:40 a.m. update - Torshiro has entered the gym.


10:30 a.m. update - Torshiro is wearing a red sweater and a red tie. White shirt. Mom is wearing black.

The ceremony is about to begin but they have some prayer and speeches before the actual announcements. Could be a little while still.


10:17 a.m. update - According to Howell: "It's starting to have a Texas feel."


We're about to begin with an announcement.


You all can forever hold it against Howell if he's wrong.


10:15 a.m. update - Former Woodlawn head coach DeCarlos Holmes is wearing a bright orange shirt and a blue tie. No hints there.


10:10 a.m update - Torshiro Davis' mom, Regina Shivers, is now in attendance. We should have an answer pretty soon.


10 a.m. updateHowell said he's still hearing that Torshiro has not signed anything.

Howell's still waiting. He said nobody is saying anything about where Torshiro will chose.

9:40 AM Update: Howell is in the gym for the announcement. There are hats from Alabama, LSU and Texas on the table. Nothing has been signed yet. Level one all the way.

We got word late yesterday that Torshiro Davis was going to sign with Texas today. From what we're hearing, he has not signed, but is about five minutes away from doing so.

We'll see if it's Texas and if it is, we'll be there to cover it.
