We all know that when someone is lying to protect themselves, their story will change as more information is revealed. Whereas when someone is telling the truth, their story stays the same. So Trump's ever changing list of excuses is exhibit A for his deceitfulness. And there was a new revelation this weekend that surely cause Trump to come out with another excuse to explain the new revelation.
So lets start with the excuses he gave at the very beginning...because with hindsight we can see how much BS they are now.
1. Documents were planted by FBI
2. They were already declassified
3. Someone else packed the boxes and he didn't know about them
4. He really wanted to cooperate with government
5. Admits classified documents found in his office were thrown on floor by FBI agent...and that's the real crime!
6. Why did they take government so long to get classified documents?
7. Leaks to the media about his classified documents
And now there's a recording of Trump admitting on tape that he knows he couldn't declassify documents after leaving the White House. So what excuse will give this time to explain away this recording...which will surely be played in court at his trial.
