That was such an awesome game. I played against one of the McKinney boys when they were at Westlake and I can't remember which one it was, but he didn't take the ass whippin I gave him on the filed too well. I took three sacks from him and he refused to shake my hand after the game. His team mate, little running back tracked me down and apologized for McKinney saying "we've known he was an asshole our entire lives---- he gets it from his dad." And then it was old man McKinney who gets the goal post rimmed in his ass-- that was a good day for me.
Definitely should have been a tie ball before Hunter got the and 1.

Tech has managed to grab themselves a pretty darn good baseball coach and pretty darn good basketball coach.
Jury is out on the football coach. But the university of herpes and crabs is on the upswing.

Love the way Tech plays. Really admire their team. But I just can't stand the thought of those worthless fans getting to celebrate a national championship. One year at the earliest before I have to think about that again.
Tech made one defensive mistake in the last 10 minutes. Unfortunately, they over helped on Jerome's drive on their final possession and left Hunter open for the three to tie. Your up by 3. Just let Jerome have the layup and stay up 1 with 12 seconds left.
I am glad my cousins don't get to gloat about this. I do agree with clob about them with a good basketball coach and a good baseball coach that came out of no where.
And UCLA has now been turned down by both Jamie Dixon AND Rick Barnes.

I think their football coach is pretty good...like Chris Peterson good. But obviously we won't know for a few years.
I never had an opinion one way or the other about TT. In fb I think we have a 3 to 1 edge in all time series. But there is one person in Lubbock who I have the potential to dislike and that's their ad Kirby Hocutt. He's hired Beard and Tim Tadlock and for the first time they're relevant in bb and mens hoops. He struck out on Kliff Kingsbury but it will be interesting to see how the Matt Wells hire works out. If he turns out to be a good hire then KH will be on my thumbs down list.
