I think most of us entered the season worried about Baker's abilty as a relatively new unknown college coach to make an impact with the DL after losing Sweat and Murphy to the NFL. But the line has been sensational this season and better than advertised. The positional discipline has been great with several players making regular contribtions to stopping the run and pressuring the pass. To this naked eye, I don't think I remember a more productive DL at Texas in a long time. Last year's line was great against the run, but really couldn't provide a pass rush with only rushing four. This year's guys live in the backfield and have kept mobile QBs from getting easy running lanes.
