Not many people know that Vanderbilt vs Texas was the original State Fair of Texas tradition. We played the Commodores in Dallas six times in the 1920s, when they were a CFB powerhouse. We went 2-4 in those games and are 3-8-1 against them overall, the last meeting being 96 years ago.
