The holiday slowdown for the Army kinda started this week, with people beginning to take off and visit family. Whilst trolling through @Ketchum thread about Miley, an email came through with my name in the subject line. My retirement has been approved. 21 years has come and gone so fast. I watched our 2005 national championship game from Iraq. I watched the horrendous 2008 Texas vs Tech game from Afghanistan. I watched the god awful Charlie years from Oklahoma. I’ve cheered on my Horns from 3 different continents and 5 different states. I’m proud of my service, but Jesus I’m glad it’s over.
