Saturday 3 p.m. update - Juco QB Jerod Evans is off the board.

Friday 5:10 p.m. update:

Looks like Texas QB commit Shane Buechele is enjoying himself.

Malik Jefferson approves.

Friday 11:30 a.m. update - D'andre Christmas-Giles on his way to Austin ...

Friday 11 a.m. update -
LB David Reese caught an early flight and is already in town.

Thursday 10 p.m. update -
TE Jamal Pettigrew and CB Kristian Fulton were expected to visit but that is no longer the case, per a source with knowledge of their recruitments. I'm told Pettigrew is supposed to reschedule. Not sure if Fulton will show up in January, but he's much more of a longshot than Pettigrew.

Thursday 6:30 p.m. update -
DT Michael Williams, who is committed to Stanford, will take his official visit to Texas on January 23.

Thursday 3:25 p.m. -
Jeff Traylor visiting Peyton Aucoin and Irv Smith.

Wednesday 9:30 p.m. -
LB David Reese, who will visit Texas this weekend, has decommitted from Michigan.

Wednesday 9:15 a.m. update -
This is from last night ... Brian Jean-Mary did an in-home visit with UT defensive end commitment Andrew Fitzgerald.

Tuesday 9:25 p.m. update -
Both Peyton Aucoin and Irv Smith confirmed via text tonight that they'll be taking an official visit to Texas this weekend.

Aucoin, of course, has been committed to Texas for a while. Smith is a Texas A&M commitment but continues to monitor other schools.

Tuesday 8:50 p.m. update -
UT wide receiver commitment Davion Curtis tells me he won't be visiting Texas until January, likely January 16.

It appears the plan is to bring all the committed guys in that weekend (aside from the early enrollees).

Tuesday 8:40 p.m. update - I just spoke to someone close to tight end Jamal Pettigrew who confirmed that Pettigrew will be taking an official visit to Texas this weekend.

The New Orleans St. Augustine product has been committed to LSU since January but has always had an open mind towards Texas. He attended the Under the Lights camp in July.

Pettigrew is expected to be joined by teammate D'andre Christmas-Giles. Giles, a DT, is committed to Tennessee.

Tuesday 7:55 p.m. update -
Rivals.com regional recruiting analyst Josh Helmholdt posted the following tonight:

"The father of Farmington, Mich., linebacker David Reese sent me the below picture, said 'Great meeting,' shortly after the in-home wrapped."

Tuesday 8:55 a.m. update -
The father of Detroit Martin Luther King ATH Donnie Corley tells Rivals.com that there is a possibility his son will visit Texas this weekend, but the family won't know for sure until tomorrow where Corley will visit.

We'll follow up tomorrow and try to get an update. I believe Ohio State and Notre Dame are also possible visit destinations. Corley has already visited Michigan State and Tennessee.

Monday 10:15 p.m. update
- Southlake Carroll ATH Lil'Jordan Humphrey tells me he'll take his official visit to Texas the weekend of January 16.

Monday 9 p.m. update
- Beaumont Central RB Devwah Whaley has decommitted from Georgia. Look for Texas to jump back into the mix for Whaley and get him in for a visit sometime in January, probably January 16.

Sunday 10 p.m. update -
Meant to post this earlier but got sidetracked. UT commit Collin Johnson will take his official visit to Texas this weekend.

Sunday 2:40 p.m. update
- Metairie Rummel DB Kristian Fulton just confirmed via text that he'll take an official visit to Texas next weekend.

Fulton hasn't named any leaders, but a lot of people think LSU and Florida could be the teams that others will have to chase down.

Fulton is the No. 5-ranked player in the state of Louisiana.
