After the game Sark stated that Texas was capable of winning the upcoming playoff. Objectively he's right. Change 1 or 2 plays in the game today and we are SEC champs right now.

But I think this team is missing a few pieces that a championship team usually has.
1. Solid special teams. We're actually lousy. I can't remember a Texas team ending the season with blocked punts, victim of a fake punt, frequent bad field position due to poor decision making by a returner, and LOTS of missed field goals.
2. Great play by the OL. Why isn't this group better? We've got at least 2 high draft picks on the line but penalties and poor play are the norm
3. Playmakers who deliver in the clutch. We haven't scored 20 points in our last 2 games.
4. An alpha dog or 2 on the roster.

Hope I'm wrong.
