One side is not interested is a discussion of potential solutions. They have their minds made up and are simply pushing an agenda. I can understand that the parents of recent victims are not going to look at this objectively. But unless a large percentage of people are willing to look at it objectively there will be no viable solution. Liberals accusing NRA of just doing the same old thing.
