The basis of most of their ongoing arguments on this board have to do with what the 2nd Amendment did or did not say with regard to "self defense" or "hunting" or some other such endeavor not relating to a "militia." I have argued that the Bill of Rights are a limitation on government, not government's permission for certain things. How do those who want to interpret things into or out of the 2nd Amendment reconcile their position with the following amendments?
