1) Hayden Connor: Connor played Center with the Orange team instead starting at left guard where he normally plays. I thought he was strong at the point of attack. I don’t recall seeing him get blown up or moved off the ball but I will have to go back and watch the broadcast.
2) Alfred Collins: Collins flashed as a freshman on raw ability. He’s now a senior and it looks like he’s learned how to translate that ability into production. He was around the ball all afternoon with a tipped pass and what was sure to be a sack.
3) Anthony Hill: Sarkisian mentioned Hill as a pass rusher during a press conference a couple of weeks ago. He showed up a couple of times today. He shot the gap nicely and applied pressure a couple of times.
HONORABLE MENTION: Austin Jordan: Jordan was wearing a green no-contact jersey but he was right in the middle of plays multiple times.
