Are homeowners on golf courses owed anything when their house is damaged by golf balls?

if your tee shot hits a house on a golf course and does damage is the owner entitled to compensation for the damage?

I say **** ‘em. They live on a ****ing golf course. What the **** did they think was going to happen?

There is a Yelp review for my club by a homeowner complaining that our GM won’t call them back about a window that was broken by a golf ball.
