Recently rewatched Red Dawn to help my kid with a school project but wondering if Rocky IV better represents the general feel of the Cold War.
Red Dawn ('84) - focused a bit more on the Central/South American villains. Not real life, duh but we all probably thought of an invasion/atomic bomb and how that would play out.
Rocky IV ('85) - Drago was the Russian soldier hopped up on steroids like we all knew their athletes were. Total USA vs. Russia with as many stereotypes as they could fit in.
