Who is really driving economic success in America?

Not unlike the Obama years when Texas drove things, we see the latest reports showing America's growth primarily coming out of red states (Georgia a purple state):

For the first time, six fast-growing states in the South — Florida, Texas, Georgia, the Carolinas and Tennessee — are contributing more to the national GDP than the Northeast, with its Washington-New York-Boston corridor, in government figures going back to the 1990s.Jun 29, 2023 Bloomberg

Found this comment interesting this morning so I did more research. Mass the "biggest winner" in the NE with a 2.5 GDP growth rate, everyone else in the 1s. Nevada (some consider purple) showed the biggest growth at 5.4% followed by Oregon 3.8%, with Washington & Hawaii 3.2%.

It would seem the nation is improving not because of Biden policies but largely in spite of them. Nor is it surprising to see Cali and NY lead the loss of Electoral votes while Texas, Florida and Tenn all gained votes making the EV map a bit more "fair and balanced"

Opportunity. What America has offered since we started. People are voting with their feet.
