I am mainly having problems (disc pinching nerve) with my C5-C6 that is causing me to have numbness /tingling and lose strength in my bicep. I am not experiencing a lot of pain so the loss of significant strength in my arm is my main concern. This is only effecting my right arm. My MRI also also showed the C4-C5 disc pinching a nerve but this is not as severe as my C5-C6.

Since I am 55 years old My doctor is recommending a Artificial Disc Replacement vs. Anterior Cervical Discectomy Fusion for the C5-C6 disc and leaving the C4-C5 alone for now.
I would appreciate any feedback from doctors, reps and patients that have experience with either of these procedures. I would love to hear feedback from people that have had this problem and what option did their doctor chose to fix the problem. Also what was the recovery time/experience like and did the surgery fix your problem.

Thank you so much for any feedback?
