One of the biggest reasons that Texas landed Colin Simmons today is the scope of what UT is doing in NIL.
Texas is a market leader in NIL right now, but in order to remain a market leader in football or to become a market leader in other sports like baseball, women's basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming, etc... UT needs more people to get involved with the Texas One Fund.
It's that simple.
Events like today occur because of the viability of the program. The Texas One Fund needs more from those that haven't signed up.
