Anyone paying attention? A couple of notes:
Denver - Jokic, who somehow still seems to be an afterthought in the sporting world, is rapidly ascending the ranks of all time greats. This guy is 29, just shy of 7', and was one assist per game shy of averaging a triple double for the season this year. We have never seen this kind of player. Jokic's Nuggets have beaten Lebron's Lakers in 11 straight matchups. Jokic is going to win his 3rd NBA MVP and it should be #4, but we know how that goes and a similar case can be made for some years Lebron and other greats didn't win.
KD - Suns down 3-0 in round 1 and haven’t kept a game within single digits. Durant has won 2 playoff series since leaving GSW 5 years ago and a first round exit looks imminent for the soon to be 36 year old. Edwards is a 22 yo superstar, I want that guy on my team.
Lebron James - apparently it’s just a game guys. That’s what Lebron told the media after going down 3-0 in round 1. He’s done, should fans even go to game 4? Lakers are saddled with Lebron for another year. He’ll be 40 in December.
