I predict this lawsuit against Fox News for comments Jessica Tarlov made will go nowhere for some very simple reasons.
1) She issued a correction a day after his lawyers sent a letter demanding a retraction and an apology. If Fox News had done this when Dominion sent a similar a letter back in Nov and Dec 2020, they would not have been sued.
2) Jessica made her claim one time. It's going to be hard for Tony to argue that this single claim made a single time by a single host has severely damaged his reputation. Again...contrast that with all the hosts on Fox News who continually spouted lies about Dominion despite receiving retraction letters from Dominion proving their talking points false.
3) They are filing their lawsuit simply because she didn't "apologize". Judges aren't very sympathetic to extracting an apology even though a correction was already issued. Heck, Fox News still hasn't officially apologized or issued a correction since it lost the Dominion lawsuit.
4) For a defamation lawsuit against a media company to be successful, actual malice as to be proven by the media company. Fox News' continued refusal to run corrections to their Dominion stories...plus many internal communications...proved malice on Fox News' part. It'll be difficult for Tony's lawyers to prove malice on Jessica's part for one comment she made on one show.
