1958 Giants Colts sudden death championship game kick started national interest in professional football. Sudden Death just reached out and grabbed casual fans like no other. I remember as a kid going out in the back yard to play tackle in our heavy winter coats. We all wanted to be Johnny Unitas. Then there was Allan the horse Ameche and Lenny Moore.
