Cliffs Notes: The Longhorns landed commitment No.10 on Sunday with the addition of Frisco Wakeland offensive guard Connor Stroh.

Rankings: Here's the industry breakdown...

LSR 100: Low four-star and No.50 overall
Rivals: (5.7) Low three-star, No.17 OG, No.76 in Texas
ESPN: (80) Four-star, No.27 OG, No.47 in Texas
On3: (87) High three-star, No.53 IOL edge, No.124 in Texas
247: (87) High three-star, No.62 OT, No.108 in Texas
247 composite: (.8794) High three-star, No.43 OT, No.83 in Texas

Notable offers: Texas (6/24 OV), Texas A&M (6/17 OV), Arkansas (6/10 OV), Auburn (5/20 OV), Florida, Florida State and Stanford

Evaluation: At 6-7, 345 pounds, Stroh is probably the biggest physical monster in the state. The obvious thing about Stroh is that when he gets his hands and body into players at the high school level, he pretty much destroys them. The question mark about him is whether he would have enough athleticism to be more than a one-way threat as an offensive linemen and the work that he's displayed over the course of the entire spring at camp after camp after camp suggests that he'll have the ability to do more than survive in pass protection, which makes him potentially a very dangerous offensive line prospect. No offensive linemen did more this spring to move up in the national rankings than Stroh did this spring.

Player He Reminds Me Of: Cam Williams

Why it matters: In a year when the state of Texas lacks elite of the elite offensive line prospects, Stroh is among the best of the next tier of line prospects that are available. Texas offensive line coach Kyle Flood loves large humans that can move and Stroh fits that bill.

Expectations: Like most offensive linemen, Stroh probably needs at least a year or two of development before you'd expect him to be competing for playing time with the starting unit, but he's a player that could emerge as a multi-year starter by the time 2024 or 2025 rolls around.
