Cliffs Notes: The No.1-seed Texas Longhorns slowly but surely used its size to pound Alabama into submission, beating the Crimson Tide 65-54 on Sunday afternoon at The Moody Center.

The Participants: No.1 Texas (32-4) and No.8 Alabama (24-10)

Game MVP: JuniorAaliyah Moore scored a game-high 21 points and a game-high 10 rebounds. When the Longhorns needed someone to make a play, it always seemed like Moore was the one that Alabama couldn't deal with.

The Difference: The Longhorns out-rebounded Alabama 45-34 ((Including 18 offensive rebounds), while outscoring the Tide in the paint 38-24 in the paint. The Longhorns didn't shoot the ball well (40% from the field), but its size was more than its future SEC partner-in-crime was able to handle.

Madison Booker Watch: The All-American scored 21 points on 9 of 16 shooting, while grabbing 6 rebounds, dishing out 2 assists and collecting 2 steals.

Worth Mentioning: Alabama wanted to use the three-point line to its advantage throughout the game, but only shot 5 of 18 from downtown, while the Longhorns made only 1 of 5 from beyond the stripe.

Next Up: The Longhorns will face the winner of No.5 Utah vs. No.4 Gonzaga, which will be played on Monday night at 9:30pm. The game will be played in Portland.
