Has anybody had luck shopping for insurance on their own? I just got a quote to add my daughter to my policy with a 2020 Jeep compass and it’s even more absurd than I originally imagined $5080 just for her. Maybe I am wrong, but that seems completely absurd to me. For some context, she is 16 and a first-time driver.
