As I exhale and reflect on the season, it was fun. It was fun to beat Bama in their house. It was fun to see Brooks go over 1k yards. It was fun to see AD score those TDs all year. It was fun to see Worthy’s speed. It was fun to see Quinn improve. It was fun the watch Sweat and Murphy. It was fun to beat all those pesky big 12 teams that have nagged us for so long. It was fun to blow out Tech after they ran their mouths. It was fun to win the conference regular season and championship game. It was fun to watch Yormark have to eat shit and hand us the trophy. It was fun to be relevant again.
Most of all, it was fun to share it all with my two boys, who both got to see Texas be really good for the first time in their young lives.
